About Us
Universal Tool and Engineering (UTE) has been serving the metal working and tube fabrication industries for over 30 years. We specialize in Tube/Pipe Bending and End Forming Equipment for Copper, Stainless, Aluminum and CarbonSteel profiles. Our Bending Equipment consists of: CNC & Semi-automatic Draw Benders, Serpentine Benders, All-Electric CNC Tube Benders, Twin Head Rotary Draw Benders, Push (Calendar) Bending, Single to Triple stack Benders, and Left and Right Hand Bending in the same Bender. Other Equipment at UTE are, Tube Straighteners, Hole piercing stations, Cut off Saws, and Other tube processes to complete you fabrication needs.UTE has expanded their expertise to include Automation for all their Equipment using Robots and Pick and Place Devices to transfer the parts from one operation to the next. We can provide you with in-line inspection and assembly processes when desired. Automatic loading and unloading is also available. Special fabrication stations are often designed and built to provide the most efficient processing of your parts.
Rebuilding your Tube Bender is also available. 2007 — Introduction of "Robo Bender", CNC 50, 65 and 80mm benders
2002 — First Pines Rebuild, entry into Bender "Rebuild" business
2001 — First CNC 40 and introduction of Microsoft Windows XP operating system
1998 — Total Redesign of Model 1500 — operating system changed to Microsoft Windows 2000
1996 — Transition of Bender Controller to Microsoft Windows 95 Operating System
1995 — Building Expansion — Added an additional 465 sq. meters to production
1995 — First CNC Model 30 Introduced
1993 — Patented "Correct A Bend" Feature
1992 — First Tube End Formers introduced — 25mm capacity
1992 — First Windows Bases Icon Driven Tube and Pipe Bender Control — Introduced at FabTec
