Employee Spotlight: Matthew Nuckols

In this month’s Employee Spotlight, we’re proud to recognize Matthew Nuckols, Service Manager at UTE and a driving force behind our service team for nearly seven years. Matthew’s leadership, experience, and steady approach help keep our service department running efficiently and effectively. He leads with accountability, sets high standards, and works alongside his team to ensure customers receive the quality support they expect from UTE. His commitment to excellence and ability to balance big-picture oversight with hands-on problem solving make him an invaluable part of our organization.

At 33, Matthew balances his professional leadership role with life on a small farm in Limestone, Tennessee, where he and his wife are raising two children, along with Longhorn cattle, goats, chickens, dogs, and even a pig. When he’s not guiding the service team, you’ll likely find him building something by hand, woodworking, welding, or working on vehicles. A fun fact about Matthew: he studied Bluegrass Music at ETSU, proof that precision and rhythm aren’t just important on stage, but in the shop as well.

What Matthew values most about working at UTE is the small-company atmosphere. As he puts it, “I’m not just a number here, it feels like a family.” We’re proud to have dedicated leaders like Matthew who bring craftsmanship, commitment, and heart to everything they do.
