If you’ve ever worked with Universal Tool & Engineering, there’s a good chance you’ve crossed paths with Rachel Love. As an Operations Support Specialist, Rachel plays an important role in keeping things moving behind the scenes and helping the UTE team navigate whatever the day brings.
Rachel has been with UTE for 4½ years, and yes, she wants you to remember the half. In a role where no two days are exactly alike, she has become someone her coworkers can count on to help solve problems, support the team, and keep things on track.
“No two days are exactly alike, which keeps every day interesting. I really enjoy how we come together as a team to support each other through challenges and celebrate our wins.”
That team mentality is a big part of what makes Rachel such a valuable part of UTE. Her role requires flexibility, organization, and plenty of teamwork, and she brings all three to the table every day. She’s often right in the middle of the action, helping connect the different pieces that keep the company running smoothly.
Getting to Know Rachel
Rachel grew up in Florida before making the move to Tennessee in 2014. In 2020, she met her husband, and today they share their home with their two dogs.
When she’s away from work, Rachel enjoys spending her weekends with family and friends, especially when there’s a concert or sporting event on the schedule.
And when it comes to unusual facts about herself, Rachel has a couple of contenders. She graduated high school with perfect attendance, which is impressive in its own right. Or, as Rachel puts it, there’s the fact that she had 14 teeth pulled as a kid.
More Than a Job
After 4½ years at UTE, Rachel has become much more than a member of the Operations team. She’s someone who helps bring people together, keeps things moving, and contributes to the team-first culture that makes UTE what it is.
Whether it’s working through a challenge or celebrating a win, Rachel is right there with the team, and that’s exactly why so many people at UTE would describe her as the glue that holds things together.
We’re proud to have Rachel as part of the UTE family and grateful for everything she brings to the team every day!
