Custom Collet for Coped End Tubing Alignment
Our featured project of the month is a custom collet with dowel pin locators for accurate alignment of coped end tubes for bending processes. A customer came to us having issues with their current process of aligning coped ends with the bend plane. Our sales team and engineers were able to design and build this customized piece of tooling that significantly sped up their processes and reduced scrap. This custom collet of tooling is less costly, more accurate, and produces parts more quickly than with a laser alignment system.
